A number of 'old' friends and cyber-acquaintances have emailed me to ask if I'm 'still in' or 'active in' in the market (s).

I thought the answer to these/such questions would be obvious. Aiya!, 'Die-die' I must be in the market , la otherwise huh I would completely 'be dead financially' or would have to be at a wet market place with a halved coconut shell, hoping that some soft-hearted souls would throw in a coin or two .. as - so far in my life - no one has come to me bearing a gift cheque/check, leh!
So I'm in the market looking for the chance to drag in a few dollars with the use of my small capital (You want to increase this for me?? I can give you my bank account number! You want ...??? :-D haaaahhhaa).
It's not easy as to make 'quick-money' as before ... hey, but something is better than nothing; right? I don't trust FM's , the 'experts' from trading houses, banks etc, etc ... so I have to rely solely on myself and my 'homework' on the stocks/stock-markets.

This is what I'm doing in the markets ( esp. in SGX)... I trade selectively for small gains - to pay for my 'three-meals' p.d. - actually huh , poor thing me, I have to reduce this to 'two-meals' p.d. - and if and when I've accumulated enough gains to buy in a lot or two of the 'blue chips' and strong second-liners (whose prices have been battered down by mainly those with low risk-threshold , weak holders , the 'kiasi & kiasu's' - [= those with morbid fear of 'dying'/ those with morbid fear of losing esp. to others] and those who are new to trading in stocks .) - for the 'medium and 'long' hold. Consequently, many counters have become severely 'under-priced'.
Of course one could still make money trading occasionally during future uptrend. However, one must stay invested for as the saying goes : " To win a lottery on must buy a ticket."

Hey, some of the prices are probably at their 'lowest' - if we don't try to bring some of them in at their 'lowest' and hold when should we do it,huh ? Of course - one could never know when each of the stock-prices has hit it lowest - but we can 'aga-aga' (estimate/'judiciously guess'), what. In 'playing the market' one could never expect no risk at all , leh.

I tell you something secret, huh :-D. ... I'm interested in some of the 'penny' stocks. From my experience some of the (strong) 'penny' counters have brought me more gain in dollar-for-dollar invested in the same period of time/duration than some of the blue-chips.

So if you have spare money to pick up some of these for 'medium' or 'long' term investment , join me in the market. Be judicious and never try to 'blame-blame' me, huh. ;-) Each time you buy in or sell you do it on your own 'volition' or based on your decision - not mine, ok!?

Am looking into and/ or 'playing' a few of the REITS (eg Ascendareit, SuntecReit, etc),
banks, property and related property constructions and 'strong' 'penny's.
*strong' - means inclusive og the 'quality ' of their 'management- team'.
